ubersoft: ...and I have absolutely no interest in the pissing contest part of the community which seems to occupy so much of everyone else's time.

ubersoft: ... such as creating a workable publishing framework, making comics searchable, managing archives through a database, that kind of thing.

ubersoft: One of the bigger reasons is that my interest in the genre is generally 'I like to read webcomics' and specifically mechanical...

ubersoft: Every time I feel an urge to write something meta about #webcomics I never manage to follow through. There are a number of reasons for this.

ubersoft: My old 1970s era G.I. Joe had more range of motion. I wonder if I can get one of those on eBay for less than five thousand dollars.

ubersoft: The problem is that the range of motion for these 'poseable' things is roughly equivalent to an octogenarian who just had back surgery.
